Interacting with us in Level 2

Interacting with us in Level 2

Operating at Level 2 Lockdown

We’re Open! In Level 2 lockdown, anyone can buy, service, or repair a vehicle.

Our Showroom is open, as long as you’re wearing a mask, and we will be observing the 2-metre rule and following strict sanitising procedures.

We also require customers to register whenever they’re on our premises.

Below we’ve briefly outlined our procedures while in Level 2 Lockdown.

Vehicle Sales

Viewing Vehicles

You can view all our New and Used vehicles on our website, or you’re welcome to come to the dealership to view vehicles.

VIDEO WALK-AROUNDS

We’re happy to arrange a Video Walk-Around. This is where we call you via Video Chat (FaceTime, Skype, Zoom – whatever you prefer) and walk around the vehicle showing you and discussing the features.

Test Drives

You’re safe with us; We’ll freshly sanitise the vehicle following strict guidelines from Mitsubishi New Zealand.

To arrange a test drive, for new vehicles click here, or for used vehicles click the button on the vehicle’s listing page.

Or just come down to the dealership, or give us a call on 0800 802 323.

Trading in your vehicle

Bring it to the dealership, or use our Online Trade-In Application to supply details and photos of the vehicle.

In both cases, our Sales Manager will then assess the vehicle and prepare a trade-in price offer for you.

Applying for Finance

You’re welcome to come to the dealship and discuss finance with our sales and finance staff. Or there are two ways we can arrange a ‘contactless’ Finance Application.

  1. Download and print the Application Document. Once you’ve filled it out, either:
    • Post or courier it to us at 140 Cameron Road, Tauranga
    • Scan and email it to us at carol@baycitymitsubioshi.co.nz
    • Drop it off to the Service Department (A contactless counter has been set up)
  2. Use our Online Finance Application.

In both cases, our Finance Manager will then assess the application and call you to discuss it further.

You will most likely also need to provide copies of the following documents.

You can choose to supply these after you’ve had a chat with the Finance Manager about your application, or to speed up the process, you can supply them with your initial application.

  • 2 Current consecutive payslips or 3 months of bank statements
  • A copy of your Drivers licence
  • Proof of address. This can be a letter from a utility company (power, phone, gas) or from the Government or Local Council showing your name and current physical address.

VEHICLE SERVICING

At Level 2 we can work on everybody’s vehicles, this includes carrying out Warrant of Fitness inspections, maintenance and routine servicing.

Booking In

You can book in the usual way. Call us, email us, or use our Online Booking Form.

Dropping off and Picking up your vehicle

We use contactless/distanced communication and we are following all sanitising procedures.

Your vehicle will be thoroughly sanitised before we return it to you.

Making Payment

You can still pay using our EFTPOS facilities inside, and we use sanitising and social distancing procedures to keep you safe.

If you prefer to pay via Internet Banking, we will need to confirm payment before releasing the vehicle.

VEHICLE PARTS

At Level 2 our parts department has the ability to supply parts as normal. You can either come to the service desk, call or email us, or use our Online Parts Ordering Form.

You can still pay using our EFTPOS facilities inside, and we use sanitising and social distancing procedures to keep you safe.
