ASX VR-e is on the way to Tauranga
Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand has confirmed the Q4 2026 arrival of an all-new ASX VR-e battery electric vehicle range, broadening customer choice across its expanding line-up.
The ASX VR-e is the second model in a new wave of Mitsubishi vehicles, following the recently announced Outlander Sport HEV. Together they strengthen the brand's electrified range alongside the popular Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross PHEV.
Mitsubishi introduced the first mass-production electric vehicle to New Zealand in 2011 with the i-MiEV, before leading the growth of plug-in hybrid technology through the best-selling Outlander PHEV. Full pricing and specification will be announced closer to launch.
