Mitsubishi Motors has unveiled the fully redesigned, all-new Pajero. A new-generation flagship that reopens one of the brand's most famous nameplates. Built at Mitsubishi's production base in Thailand, it launches first in Thailand, followed by Japan, Australia and New Zealand during fiscal 2026.
Introduced in 1982, the Pajero brought together authentic off-road performance with passenger-car comfort, and went on to sell more than 3.29 million units across four generations in over 170 countries.
The new model builds on that heritage with a third dimension the company calls Prestige: the premium look, finish and refinement expected of a flagship, alongside the confidence and comfort Pajero has always been known for.
