Meet Brenden, he’s quite a character.

Meet Brenden, he’s quite a character.

With 7 years in the Service Department at Bay City Mitsubishi, he’s a highly qualified Vehicle Technician.

Brenden volunteers his time and money to coach the Blue Rovers Junior football team.

“I play, and my kids play,” says Brenden “I love helping all the kids thrive, and move up through the levels.”

We think that’s awesome, so we’re supporting Brenden by giving the Blue Rovers club $500 worth of gear to help the kids continue to develop their skills, confidence and learn about teamwork.

The Blue Rovers club motto is ‘Connecting Community through Football’. In current times, we think connecting community is a great idea!

Theo Ursum, Club President said “Support from the local community helps us keep our gear up to date and makes sure our players enjoy a great football experience!”

Blue Rovers Football Club was formed in 1971 and has around 500 players across First Kicks, Junior, Youth, Senior, Girls and Women’s Winter Football. The majority of players are from the local area of Greerton, Pyes Pa, The Lakes and Central Tauranga.
