Once again we’re collecting food and gifts from you, our super-generous customers, to support the Tauranga Foodbank, and Homes for Hope children’s charity.
We gave Selwyn Ridge Primary School a greenhouse for their Garden to Table program that provides the kids with experience growing and cooking their own food.
Last Xmas we overflowed the van! The charities were blown away, so let’s do it again! We couldn’t have done it without our incredibly generous customers. Can you help with any of these items?
As I got out of my warm bed the other morning, into my warm pre-heated room, and put on my warm dressing gown, I thought “this month our community support needs to provide a little warmth to others”.
Foster Hope is a Charitable Trust that provides essential items to children entering foster care, because every child in foster care deserves to know that their community cares about them.
The Garden-to-Table program at Oropi School was recommended by one of our customers as a worthy recipient of our monthly community support donation, and I have no doubt the team of teachers and volunteers running the program will put it to excellent use.
